People looking for a healthier alternative to traditional Christmas fare can take part in a course being run by Lancashire County Council.
The courses will teach people to make Christmas cakes and desserts that contain no flour and no added fat and sugar and need no cooking.
The one-day courses organised by Lancashire County Council’s adult learning service in Chorley and Lancaster will be run by Lesley Woods, a naturopathic nutritionist and raw food enthusiast.
She will pass on her recipes for mince pies, Christmas cake, chocolate log and other goodies.
All they contain is nuts and fruit and a little bit of raw chocolate.
The one-day courses will take part at Lancaster Adult College on Monday December 10 and at Lancashire College in Chorley on Tuesday December 11.
