This weekend is your last chance to drop off quality clothes, books, toys and household goods at Safestore Preston on Ribbleton Lane, for the two week-long ‘Dash to Donate’ challenge which aims to collect as much stock as possible for the disability charity Scope.
Laura Lloyd, Store Manager at Safestore Preston said: “Scope’s ‘Dash to Donate’ challenge is a great opportunity for people to find a new home for things that they have loved but no longer need.
“It’s also an excuse to do a bit of spring cleaning and help other people at the same time by donating good quality things that can be sold in Scope shops.
“It is a very worthy cause so we hope that local people in Preston will be really generous.”
Donated items can be taken to any Safestore and are always welcome at Scope shops.
Donations will be taken until May 11.
