Youngsters from the Volunteer Police Cadets Burnley and Preston have won the National Cadet Competition.
Cadets from all over the country took part in the two day weekend event in Perthshire, to battle it out in tests of endurance, team work, knowledge and communication skills. The result means the competition will return to Lancashire next year.
Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw, said: “Firstly, I’d like to say a huge well done to the Cadets that took part in the competition. They should be really proud of themselves and the way they have represented Lancashire.”
