June Baker Singers back for tenth charity concert
The group of singers will be performing timeless favourites from many well known songs of film and stage, with a little comedy and a sing along thrown in too.
The family performance will mark a special milestone of the choir’s association with the Longridge Branch of the Brittle Bone Society.

Hide AdTheir coming together followed a chance encounter at the Palace Cinema when Gertie Farmery was told about a group of singers who performed at events raising money for charity.
She contacted June and as they say ‘the rest is history.’ Organised each year by Gertie and husband John the concerts have together raised nearly £8,000.
Since the Longridge branch of the society was founded in 1973, their fundraising events have raised more than £130,000 for the cause.
John said: “Come along and join in with this family entertainment show which for the tenth year is helping to raise vital funds for our charity.”
