DRAMA and church group St James Players’ are asking their audiences to join them under the sea this week for the showing of their ‘The little Mermaid’ pantomime.

The group, who put on a play and pantomime from St James Church Hall in Lostock Hall, Preston, each year, will be opening its doors tonight until Saturday for four fun filled performances.

Written and directed by group member Andrew Croft and led by Rebecca Wilson as leading lady Ariel the pantomime is a traditional adaptation of the family favourite Disney film and is an experience for all ages.

Church member Joan Stewart, 90 said: “The performances are always well received and quite honestly it is unusual for the hall not to be full. The group work very hard and I am sure that it will be great.”

The Little Mermaid will be showing at 7.30pm in St James Hall with a matinee performance at 2.00pm on Saturday.
