Industrial unit fire
Firefighters tackled a blaze at an industrial unit.
Two fire engines and crews from Bamber Bridge and Leyland attended the incident at Old Mill Industrial Estate, School Lane, Bamber Bridge.
Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, which had also taken hold in a van within the building.
Crews set up a portable fan unit to extract the smoke and heat.
There were no casualties and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
The emergency call was received at 5.15pm yesterday.
