Bigamy figures revealed

Eleven people have committed bigamy in Lancashire over the past 12 years, figures have revealed, with five of those offenders were prosecuted by a court.

Man charged in connection with religious hatred

A man charged in connection with leaflets blaming Muslims for the heroin trade will appear before the city's crown court on November 9.

Tony Bamber, 53, of Greenbank Street, Preston, is accused of incitement to commit religious hatred.

Couple to be sentenced

A couple who stole 15,000 from a vulnerable Preston widower will be sentenced at Preston Crown Court on Friday October 30.

Raymond Robinson, 31, of Shuttleworth Road, Deepdale, and his partner Helen Bolton, 32, of Cleveleys Avenue, Fulwood, have each admitted the theft.
