Veolia ES Cleanaway is accused of failing to take safe measures to prevent a fire or explosion.

Man makes false claims
Dishonestly claiming benefits has cost a 59-year-old man more than 10,000.
Natvarlal Jeram Modasiya, of Lowndes Street, admitted 13 counts of making a false statement to obtain social security benefits.
He failed to tell Preston Council he had savings of more than 40,000.

John Paul Pollitt, 46, of Pinfold Street, was convicted by Preston magistrates.

A Penwortham motorist who drove without a licence or insurance has been banned from the roads for nine months.
Glenn Wilson, 39, of Sycamore Drive, admitted the offences.

Tracey Jamison, 30, of Tennyson Road, admitted theft from Boots when she appeared at Preston Magistrates' court.

Russell Armstrong, 34, of Slaidburn Road, admitted the offence.

A Lostock Hall man has admitted taking a car without consent.
Brendan Nicholas, 20, of Garden Street, admitted the offence.
Preston magistrates ordered him to do 40 hours unpaid work and pay 50 costs.
Driving while disqualified
Jonas Ulys, 48, of Brook Street, Ashton, admitted driving while disqualified.
Preston magistrates tagged him and put him on a 12-week curfew. He must pay 50 costs.
TV theft from supermarket
A shoplifter who stole a TV from a supermarket has been put on a six-month community order.Mark Cairns, 29, of Bidston Street, Fishwick, admitted theft from Sainbury's when he appeared before Preston magistrates.
