Drunk costs
Preston magistrates have conditionally discharged a drunk and disorderly man.
Scott Malliband, 23, of Ingleton Road, Brookfield, admitted the offence on Church Street.
He must pay 95 costs.
Knife man fined 160
An Ingol man has been fined 160 for having two kitchen knives in public.
Michael Battersby, 20, of Dalmore Road, also admitted having a snooker ball in a sock. Preston magistrates ordered him to pay 40 costs and a 15 victim surcharge.
50 order for assault
A Preston man has admitted assaulting a woman.
Preston magistrates told Haroon Patel, 38, of Roman Road, Frenchwood, to pay 50 costs. He was conditionally discharged.
Store drinks thief jailed
A shoplifter has been jailed for four weeks. William Appleton, 54, of Grosvenor Street, Avenham, admitted stealing whisky and beer from Morrisons.
Preston magistrates heard he had previous offences.
Ship on crest of a wave
A Fylde restaurant has been given top marks by Taste Lancashire.
The Ship in Elswick, near Kirkham, was given Highest Quality Assured status for its food, use of local produce and customer service.
The award aims to promote excellence in eating out.
Driver was over the drink limit
A motorist has been fined 100 and disqualified from driving for 12 months after admitting drink driving.
Alan Peter King, 60, of South Meadow Lane, Preston, had 47mcg of alcohol in his breath, Preston Magistrates' Court heard.
He was ordered to pay 15 victims' surcharge.
The court ruled if he completes a rehabilitation course the disqualification will be reduced by three months.
Man must pay for broken pane
A man who smashed a woman's windows has been ordered to pay 150 compensation.
David John Brindle, 50, of Brownrigg Road, Preston, was given a six-month conditional discharge when he admitted criminal damage at Preston Magistrates' Court. He was ordered to pay 85 costs.
Thief must behave
A man has been given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months after pleading guilty to stealing power tools from a shed.
Jamie Thomas Abela, 21, of Ainsdale Drive, Ashton-on-Ribble, appeared at Preston Magistrates' Court, where he also admitted possessing cannabis resin. He must pay 50 costs.
Man drunk
A man who admitted being drunk and disorderly in a Preston bank has been fined 30 and ordered to pay 85 costs and a 15 victim surcharge.
Reece William Fowler, 19, of Croston Road, Farington Moss, Leyland, admitted his drunken behaviour in a bank on Church Street.
Race hate
A man who admitted racially aggravated harrassment has been given a conditional discharge for 12 months.
Daniel Colin Delaney, 25, of Burnslack Road, Ribbleton, Preston, was told he must pay 85 costs by Preston's magistrates.
