A building society in Chorley has unveiled St Catherine’s Hospice as their 2017 chosen charity.

Staff at the society selected the Lostock Hall-based hospice as their charity of choice to receive the benefits from fundraising efforts.

Zoe Patterson, marketing manager for Chorley Building Society said: “Our St Catherine’s Hospice affinity partnership is very popular with our members. The partnership has helped raise an amazing amount and shows how easy it can be to make a difference in the local community. We would like to thank our members for their continued support as they have helped raise outstanding amounts for some well-deserved causes”.

This week, the marketing team from the society visited the hospice and delivered a cheque for over £21,500 to the charity.

The society plan on holding a charitable event every month, from raffles to book sales.
