Horse theme for bondage event

More than 30 bondage enthusiasts headed for Lancashire for an event in which men and women indulged in horseplay.

Visitors from as far as Stockholm attended the Preston Ponyplay Day – an event which involves partners dressing up in horse tack to get a sexual kick.

Human pony play is a form of roleplay where one person acts like a pony or horse, while their partner takes on the role of rider or trainer.

The Lancashire Evening Post received anonymous e-mails about the 9am to 5pm event which was advertised on the internet.

The organisers, thought to be a married couple in their 40s known as Lady Pandora and Sparky, converted a former factory warehouse in the middle of an unidentified industrial estate into a stable for the day.

The site, understood to have been used for car boot sales in the past, was kitted out with hay, horse tackle and other items including around a dozen carts, a circuit, a training wheel, and a lunge ring.

Visitors were charged 5 to get in.

Pictures of the event, posted on the internet, show women clad in bondage gear, tassles, horse tackle and special "hoofboots".

Those who attended later spoke, via an online chat site, of a series of races including sprints, timed circuits round the circular track, and an obstacle race done with the "ponies" led on reins.

One poster wrote: "I have just returned home, and have to say how good it was.

"I and my pony had a really great time."

Another, 'Penny the Pony', said: "Best 5 I've spent in a long time.

"Even if I did get hobbled for being over-frisky!"

The organisers are thought to be planning to hold the event in the city four times a year.

An online forum says: "We will also have an improved obstacle course next time, as well as a dressage competition and a jumps course for the more adventurous or fit."
