An art exhibition by high school pupils from across South Ribble starts soon in Leyland.

From Tuesday, March 5, until Monday, March 25, there will be a full display available for the public to view at the South Ribble Museum and Exhibition Centre in The Old Grammar School, Church Road.

At 7.30pm on Tuesday, March 12, there will be a presentation of certificates to pupils in the parish church adjacent to the museum, for the art work deemed to be the most impressive.

The museum is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 10am to 4pm, on Thursdays from 1pm to 4pm, and on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm.

All events are free of charge.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

For more information on the exhibition or on the work of the museum, telephone 01772 422041.
