A 79-year-old woman in her garden was approached by three men at around 12.30pm on Tuesday, October 20.

They told her a water pipe had burst further down the road and they needed to get into her house.

Once inside, two of the men turned the taps on in the kitchen and shower room while the third man went upstairs.

The man is thought to have taken the woman’s handbag containing around £120, before leaving with the other two men.
