Paula Holmes, mum of brain tumour victim Katy who died at the age of 10, took home the award for Inspirational Woman of the Year in the Enterprise Vision Awards, on Friday night.

Speaking after being presented with her prize, Paula said: “The team, along with the large network of supporters, have helped to turn pur ideas into fabulous events that have raised over £500k .

“I am so proud of this togetherness and what it has achieved and I know we will be a massive part of getting that cure.

“I must thank everyone that has ever followed us, supported us, helped, donated, shared, liked, retweeted, voted, nominated or volunteered for the Katy Holmes Trust because i wouldn’t have received the award without their wonderful encouragement.”
