JACQUELINE Pratt has been appointed as a new non-executive director at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.

In a career which has spanned 30 years, Ms Pratt has a track record, which takes in health and social care leadership at board level, and includes leadership and governance roles within an NHS Foundation Trust and the Police Service.
John Cowdall, chair of UHMBT, said: “Jacqueline has held numerous high level appointments and has significant experience when it comes to contributing to business improvement and helping to manage change.
“Jacqueline is an experienced foundation trust non-executive director, and I am pleased to welcome her onto the board.”
Ms Pratt added: “I am delighted to be UHMBT and feel my skills and experience will compliment those already represented on the board.
“I am looking forward to working with the trust board, its governors and staff, to sustain and improve its operational performance and maintain its focus on delivering high quality, safe patient care within a challenging and changing environment.”
Ms Pratt started her career as a social worker, where she developed her passion for caring for people.
