Trust walks away with national healthcare gongs

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has been named the winner of two awards at a prestigious London event.

The Healthcare People Management Association national event, which recognises outstanding work in healthcare human resource management, took place on June 26 and the Trust walked away with gongs in both of their nominated categories.

Louisa Graham, Head of Organisational Development at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust won the ‘Deputy HR Director of the year’.

Karen Swindley, Workforce and Education Director at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Louisa is the consummate role model for Organisation Development and I’m delighted that her hard work has been recognised.”

Meanwhile, the Trust’s Organisational Development team walked away as winners in the ‘leadership development’ category with the judges stating about the programme devised by the team “was an innovative project and staff showed a lot of passion for the project.”
