An open day to allow people to see what it would be like to have a career with the ambulance service will be held.
On Saturday (March 10), the North West Ambulance Service is opening its doors to members of the public to promote the current vacancies it has across the north of the county.
The Trust currently has vacancies for Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and is also hoping to recruit urgent care service-care assistants for future vacancies.
Staff from the recruitment team will be on hand to discuss job roles, terms and conditions and offer advice and guidance on how to apply.
And operational staff who already carry out these roles will also be at the event to answer any questions people may have about what the jobs entail and what roles those in them are expected to perform.
The open day is being held on Saturday from 10am until 4pm.
It takes place at Ulverston Ambulance Station, Victoria Road, Ulverston, LA12 0EN.
Bosses say the event is an ideal opportunity for anyone hoping to start a career with the North West Ambulance Service.
The service operates ambulances across the region throughout the year and is the largest ambulance trust in the country.
