The Red Cross in Lancashire is due to take delivery of its new Fire and Emergency Support Service vehicle in the coming weeks.

The charity launched an appeal last year to raise £40,000 for a new motor and they raised the funds needed by December.

The current vehicle, which is 18 years old, is no longer as reliable or efficient as needed.

The new one has been ordered and is due to arrive soon.
