Brave Lancastrian employees have stripped off for a special calendar to raise money for charity.
Nineteen of the Redrow’s Lancashire division’s sales consultants from various developments modelled for the ‘Hot Shots’ 2015 calendar in Buckshaw Village and they have already raised more than £1,000 for the Stroke Association.
The idea is part of the housebuilder’s 40th anniversary year celebrations, during which all of its national employees are taking part in a year-long ‘charity challenge’.
Redrow sales consultant Lorraine Moores said: “We wanted to show our support to a team member whose mum had a severe stroke last year. When we were coming up with suggestions of what we could do, a ‘Calendar Girls’ idea was mentioned but we all initially brushed it aside. However, after giving it further thought we decided it was a great idea. It was a real challenge as it was all shot in one day at Buckshaw Village. However, even the most nervous of the team really enjoyed it and we all had a great sense of achievement knowing we were doing it for such a worthy cause. It actually turned out to be a fantastic way of team building too.” To buy the calendar see: www.justgiving.com/lancshotshots
