Bosses of the charity, based in Penwortham called in the help of conductor Jeff Borradaile with the ‘Blackburn People’s Choir’ and their youth choir ‘Vocalise’ to host an afternoon workshop and grand concert.

The event raised £1,000 for disadvantaged people across the county.

this and to have Jeff and
the choir to come along to help and perform was just great.

“All in all it was a great success.

“It is definitely something we would like to turn into an annual event, perhaps next year to coincide with homelessness Sunday in January.”

A spokesperson for the Blackburn People’s Choir said: “We had a lovely afternoon and evening with Methodist Action.
