The Diocese of Blackburn has announced that the Bishop’s Harvest Appeal 2013 has so far raised £10,199.
The title of the appeal was Sweet Harvest, and it focused on South America and helping with Christian Aid partner the Centre for Research and Training of Peasants (CIPCA) in Bolivia and Chile.
CIPCA is a co-operative that supplies honey and blueberries to Traidcraft.
Bishop Julian Henderson said: “The diocesan World Development Group thanks all who have and will contribute to the appeal.
“You have made a change in the life opportunities of these South African communities.”
