Gym goers in Leyland have raised more than £350 for charity Joining Jack with an intense masterclass workout.

More than 100 Gymtec members sweated it out in the name of charity with a mixture of aerobics, high intensity, Zumba and core.

The gym, which has already raised £1,500 for Joining Jack, is hoping to raise £10,000 this year with a catalogue of different fund-raising events.

The Joining Jack charity aims to raise awareness and money to try and find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

David Southworth, club manager at Gymtec, said: “The day got all our members together for a good cause and for the whole two hours everyone was either laughing or smiling.
