Ghosts found in park cafe (with video in three parts)

Paranormal investigators say they have uncovered ghosts at the site of a former historic hall.

Staff at Leyland's Worden Arts Centre were convinced the site was haunted after they felt ghostly sensations and had their hair tickled.

Now, after a series of extensive tests involving temperature and filming, experts are convinced the centre's cafe is a hotbed of activity.

The investigators say the strange occurrences are the work of the spirit of a maid called Phyllis – who was killed when the former Worden Hall was extensively damaged by a fire in 1941.

During a seance held at the cafe, Phyllis and another

spirit, the previously unheard of Victor ffarington, also made their strong presence felt.

Coffee shop manager Andrea Morris, 39, and daughter Georgina, 19, both from Leyland, had noticed bizarre happenings as they served up tea and coffee to visitors in the cafe.

Lights flickering on and off, mysterious figures in doorways and moving crockery are just some of the weird happenings Andrea and Georgina have experienced over the last two years.

Andrea added that many of the things which have happened in the coffee shop they simply cannot find an explanation for.
