Gang 'restrain' woman in night-time house robbery
A gang of men burst into a Lancashire home and stole £300 in a terrifying night-time robbery.
Detectives are appealing for information after a woman at the home, at Plocks Farm, Liverpool Road, Bretherton, near Chorley, was "restrained" by the raiders as they stole the cash.
Detectives have not revealed how the woman was restrained, saying it was part of the investigation.
The gang of three or four men stole the cash in 20 notes. The incident happened at 9.30pm on Sunday.
Officers say the victim has been left shaken but unharmed.
Det Insp Marc Nasser, who is investigating the incident, said: "The victim is shook up but fortunately unharmed as a result of this incident.
"We are appealing to anyone who may have seen vehicles parked on the A59 adjacent to or near to Plocks Farm entrance or near to Bretherton Toll Bar between 7pm and 10pm on Sunday 27th September or anyone who saw three or four men aged 20 to 40 dressed in dark clothing in that area on foot."
Three of the men are described as being white with soft Merseyside accents.
The first man is approximately 6ft 1in tall with a slim build. The second man is also around 6ft 1in with a stocky build and the third man is around 5ft 6in tall and also has a stocky build.
