An evening with snooker legend and BBC sports pundit Dennis Taylor will be held in aid of the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
The event, organised by North West Sports Events, will be held at The Pines Hotel in Preston Road, Clayton-le-Woods, near Preston, on Saturday starting at 7pm.
It offers people the chance to enjoy the company of the 1985 world snooker champion, who will regale stories from his over 30-year career, including winning his 1985 World title against Steve Davis.
The evening will also feature former snooker professional Ian McCulloch, from Walton-le-Dale, near Preston as the MC and will include a three-course meal, charity raffle, auction and comedian performance.
Proceeds will be donated to the Rosemere Cancer Foundation, which is based at the Royal Preston Hospital.
The Rosemere Cancer Foundation raises funds for additional equipment and facilities for cancer patients being treated at the specialist cancer centre at Royal Preston Hospital and in the local cancer units throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria.
All projects funded by Rosemere are outside the scope of the NHS but make life easier for cancer patients.
Tickets are priced £35 per person or £315 for a table of 10. Visit www.nwsportsevents.co.uk or call 07977 312563.
