Free help to keep warm for Lancaster’s residents

Lancaster City Council’s Home Improvement Agency is stepping up its campaign to ensure vulnerable residents across the district stay safe and warm in their homes this winter.

The Warm Homes Service offers a range of free services to residents who are over 60, disabled or have long-term health conditions.

If your heating system is not working properly, the service can provide free assistance with temporary heating until a permanent solution is found. Assistance is also available in accessing funding for replacement heating systems, boiler servicing, upgrading heating controls, timers and programmers and dealing with fuel debt.
