Fire crews from Penwortham and Fulwood will give out fire safety advice at Longton library on July 21.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue said: “As part of our Community Safety Strategy we contribute to making our communities safer and prioritise the people and communities who are at greatest ‘risk’.
“We will be at the library to support and advise the local community on how to stay safe from fire and other emergencies that may occur in their homes.”
Free home fire safety checks, where a local fire crew or community fire safety practitioners will take a risk assessment of your property, are also available, as well as free smoke alarms and fire safety advice.
You can also book Home Fire Safety Checks via the Free Phone 0800 169 1125 or by LFRS Internet website.
Fire crews will be at the library between 2pm until 4.30pm.
