Former police chief to share life advice

Former Lancashire Police chief constable Pauline Clare will be sharing her life coaching skills to everyone on the internet.

The UK’s first ever female chief constable has been chosen to appear on the blog 10 minute tips.

Mrs Clare, who retired from Lancashire Police in 2002, is now more accustomed to offices than life on the beat.

The Chorley-based ex-officer has now retrained as a consultant specialising in working with top business executives and doing life coaching and team coaching.

And she has set about developing her own skills and also training individuals, businesses and organisations how to make the best out of themselves and their employees.

Pauline is using her 36 years of experience to help modern women take back control of their lives.

She is teaching them simple methods that can help them identify key areas of their life to work on and then supporting them with advice along the way.

The 10 Minute Tips Blog has been created to provide women with bite-sized tips that they can fit into their daily lives to enhance their health, wellbeing and confidence.

As well as life coaching the blog provides tips on beauty, hair and make-up, nutrition, fitness, relationships and style.

The site also gives women a platform to share their own thoughts and experiences.

Mrs Clare was appointed Lancashire’s top cop in 1995 and paved the way for other women to take up the top role.

International sweet manufacturer Panda Licorice has set up the blog at www.10minutetips.co.uk.

I wonder if any retired male chief constables are offering tips on 'beauty, hair [if any] and make-up, nutrition, fitness, relationships and style'. It's all rather sad, after so many years of feminism.
