Football team presented with new jackets by housing group

team: Preston Pirates under eights in their new training jackets

team: Preston Pirates under eights in their new training jackets

Preston Pirates under eights football team will be ready to put their best foot forward this season, after receiving a donation from Progress Housing Group’s charity committee.

The youngsters have been kitted out with brand new training jackets through money donated by the housing provider’s charity committee.

Team coach Chris Rasburn said: “Last season as a new team, we saw many other teams who looked smart in their team jackets.

“Preston Pirates is a small but growing club, run by local volunteers where our philosophy is centred around developing the child, not just the footballer.

“We try to keep costs to a minimum so as not to exclude any children, so needed assistance to buy the team jackets. Progress Housing Group has a long history of supporting local community projects, and we are delighted that they choose to support our application for funds.”

To find out more about the Charity Committee and how you can apply contact the customer services team on 01772 450600 or email enquiries@progressgroup.org.uk
