A flytipper caught on camera dumping corrugated roofing has admitted the offence.
Ryan Clough, 26, was recorded dumping the sheets of metal down the side of a garage in Whittle-le-Woods, near Chorley, and trying to hide them by covering them with leaves.
Clough, of Highfield Crescent, Nelson, pleaded guilty to the offence at Leyland Magistrates’ Court.
Sentence was adjounred til August 28.
Coun Adrian Lowe, who oversees environmental health issues at Chorley Council, said: “Last year alone we dealt with 740 incidents of fly-tipping and as you can imagine we have to spend a lot of time and money cleaning up litter and fly-tipping across the borough.”
