A man has admitted exposing himself on two occasions in Preston.

Robert Steven Gilfoyle, who gave his address as Fairway, Chorley, appeared before Preston Magistrates’ Court after being charged with two offences of flashing.

The 27-year-old pleaded guilty to two counts of intentionally exposing his genitals, intending someone to see them and be caused alarm or distress, when he appeared during a short hearing.

Both occasions relate to incidents in the city reported on December 5 last year, the court heard.

The bench adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.

They granted him conditional bail not to enter Preston until his next appearance, when he is expected to be sentenced.

He is expected to next appear in the dock on January 20.
