Firefighters tackle garage blaze in Penwortham
A fire took hold in a domestic garage in Penwortham yesterday afternoon.
Fire engines from Preston and Penwortham both attended the scene in Broad Oak Lane at around 4.30pm.
Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the blaze at the outbuilding, which was at the bottom of a garden.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
