Croston WI - February 2009

Croston WI recently celebrated the Institute's 60th birthday. Members and guests enjoyed an evening at the Old School Heritage Centre. perusing memorabilia and reminiscing with old friends.

A wonderful meal was cooked and served by the staff of the Local Grapes restaurant.

Three founder members were able to attend including the WI's first president, Bell Bannister.

99 year old Bell was invited to cut the birthday cake along with present president Anne Sandwell and Sally Roberts, Lancashire Federation chairman.
