A father and son put their best foot forward to raise money for the Jordan Grant Memorial Fund.
Michael Eastham and his son Thomas, 15, walked the Ridgeway National Trial for the fund, which is affiliated to Cardiac Risk in the Young.
Michael, 44, from Fulwood, said: “So far we have raised approximately £400, all of which will go towards scanning young people for heart conditions. We started the walk on July 20 and finished it on July 25, 87 miles later, with a further 10 miles added on for detours. The highlights of the walk included the stunning landscapes of the North Wessex Downs and the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the glorious weather, the delicious food and the friendliness of the locals we met along the way.”
