A local mother is starting a summer of fund-raising this weekend.
Louise Moyles’ son Bradley suffers from cystic fibrosis and the family from Ribbelton, Preston are raising money to fund a physio vest.
They are staging a charity football match with a twist as the over 30’s will face the under 30’s dressed in women’s clothing on the fields next to the Grange Primary School, Grange Avenue, Ribbleton, Preston.
After the match the fund-raising will continue with a family fun day at the Gammull pub, Longridge Lane, Ribbleton,.
Louise said: “Once the game has finished ou friends at the Gammull pub will be hosting a family fun day with a bouncy castle and lots of activities.
“We are hoping to raise over £7,000 throughout the summer. We’ve called this event ‘simply the vest’ and we hope people will come down and help us raise the money.”
