Welcome to Agent of the Week, where we meet the people behind the property deals in Bamber Bridge and across the North West.

According to Senga Shuttleworth, branch manager of Farrell Heyworth, Bamber Bridge, the property market is continuing to improve.

Senga, who’s been in the estate agency business for nine years, said: “While we’re not yet seeing the
increase in prices, there are lots of buyers making the most of the Help to Buy scheme offered on mortgages.”

Top of her list for making a property attractive to potential buyers is price and presentation.

Senga advises: “If your property is on the market at a realistic price and presented well you should get lots of interest.”

She says the lettings market is continually strong.

“We’re still looking for new properties on both sales and lettings to help us find a property for our ever-growing list of buyers and tenants.”

The team at Farrell Heyworth pride themselves on their customer service.

“We have expert local knowledge of the area and a wealth of expertise in all aspects of buying, selling and renting a property.

Senga adds:”We even offer awards to our staff for their excellence in customer service.

“Estate agents get a lot of bad press. But we at Farrell Heyworth are good, honest, reliable independent estate agents.”

Senga says she loves her job. “I have an outgoing nature and so love meeting a variety of people from all walks of life.

“But if I wasn’t involved in estate agency, as a life long fan, I would love to manage Glasgow Rangers Football Club!”
