YOUR PICTURES: Parents' pride showcased with series of back-to-school photos

Mums and dads sent in pictures of the youngsters’ big moments to the Evening Post.

Whether it’s in front of the fridge, in the living room or on the front door step, the excitement of starting a new school chapter is spread across the children’s faces.

St Mary and St Benedict’s Primary School in Bamber Bridge, Ashton Community Science College and St Cecilia’s Roman Catholic High School in Longridge were just three of many schools to receive some of the new students as they filtered back into 
education after the six-week summer holidays.
