Budding performing arts students felt like Broadway stars for a week during a visit to New York.
The 27 students from Preston’s College took a trip to the Big Apple as part of an enterprising trip to meet professional performers and accompanists.
As well as seeing Broadway shows Phantom of the Opera and Motown, students took part in performance workshops and a question and answer session with some of stars of the shows.
Student Harry Elletson said: “It was amazing to get the chance to ask questions of actors working on Broadway and find out more about the industry we all want to go into.”
Jane Tudor, assistant head of performing arts, said: “This is a trip we take students on every year and every year it is a success. I’m pleased that this year we were able to take learners from right across our courses, from entry level right through to level three.”
