Youngsters were told to stay at home this morning after a 'structural problem' forced Weeton Primary School to stay closed.

A spokeswoman for the county council said the school, in Grantham Road, closed as a 'precaution', although no more information on the problem was immediately available.

She said: "Pupils have been kept aware and we are hoping to get them back in class on Monday."

More to follow.
