Police are believed to have located two teenagers who ran away from a top Lancashire boarding school.
The pair, named locally as Edward Bunyan and Indira Gainiyeva, are said to have fled Stonyhurst College, near Clitheroe for the Dominican Republic on Saturday.
The 16 year olds, both thought to be overseas students, travelled to Manchester Airport in the early hours and jetted off to the sun soaked Caribbean island.
Local police are believed to have located the pair at a five-star beach resort after they landed at Puerto Plata,
A spokeswoman for Lancashire police said: “It is understood that we have a good idea where they are.”
