Pupils at All Hallows Catholic High School in Penwortham have been entertaining sell-out audiences with their production of Les Miserables this week.
Two separate casts, made up entirely of pupils, have spent weeks preparing for the blockbuster, taking to the stage on alternate nights.
Opening night saw a packed audience glued to their seats as the young thespians took them on a journey through 19th century France, following the intertwining stories of a host of characters as they struggle for redemption and revolution.
The main characters put on an outstanding performance, ably supported by the rest of the cast.
Artistic director Lavinia Colclough is helped by a production team of more than 60. The sell out show runs till Friday night.
