A new boss has taken over the helm at Runshaw College’s Business Centre.
Tim Cutler, who hails from East Lancashire, has a wealth of experience built up over a career spanning 25 years and joins Runshaw from a senior role with North Lancs Training Group (NLTG).
As head of school, he will have the task of making sure both students and employers receive quality training and development programmes that deliver a skilled workforce.
Tim said: “Runshaw Business Centre has a rich history for providing outstanding training and I’m keen to keep this reputation alive and push for even greater success.”
He added: “My main goal for the coming months is to increase apprenticeship provision and continue to build strong relationships with local firms by introducing training programmes that are responsive to their needs.
“This role is all about ensuring that we develop fresh talent and boost skills in the local area to help businesses in Lancashire thrive.”
Deputy principal Claire Foreman said that the appointment was a”major coup” for Runshaw.
She added: “Tim has a strong track record in the education sector.”
She said: “He brings a core understanding of our values and will help to transform our vision into reality in becoming one of the North West’s leading training and development providers.”
