Aspiring young thespians from a Fulwood high school proved a class act when they took to the stage.
Actors, singers and dancers from Corpus Christi Catholic Sports College put on a show-stopping performance with their production of Grease.
The popular classic saw packed audiences at the St Vincent’s Road school over three nights.
Pupils and their tutors started work on the show in September and gave up hours of their free time.
The audiences were transported back to the fifties as the cast followed the trials and tribulations of young love among US high school pupils – as well as the ‘gang’ rivalry of the youngsters.
Pupils were also involved in the front of house and back stage operations of the mammoth show.
Staff said pupils had a great time rehearsing and were buzzing with excitement rather than nerves when they took the stage on opening night.
