The memory of a golf student who died last year has been immortalised by her college.
Myerscough College marked the first anniversary of Ange Roscoe’s death by unveiling a special memorial bench, built in her honour.
Ange Roscoe passed away suddenly a year ago at the age of just 26.
She was described as a very popular student who achieved an honours degree in golf management when she studied at Myerscough between 2006 and 2009.
Her parents, Pam and John, along with her boyfriend, Mark and close friends gathered for the unveiling on the fourth tee of the Preston college’s golf course.
Her dad John, who travelled from the family home in County Durham said: “I’d like to thank everyone for making it happen. “Ange would have loved this and would have been proud of what’s been done.
“She really enjoyed her time at Myerscough College.
“Her love of golf and the friendships she made while here got her through and helped her achieve her degree
“Friends were very special to her and the fact that so many people helped with the bench reinforces how special those friendships were. ‘’
College chaplain Gloria Birdsall said: “This bench will forever be a token of remembrance and on the anniversary of her passing , and every day, we celebrate her life.”
