Creative Writing students and staff at Edge Hill University are taking part in a ‘nocturnally-themed marathon’ as part of a special exhibition tonight.
Dr Ailsa Cox, Reader in Creative Writing and English, has been asked to do a reading at The Day of the Dead of Night event in Liverpool with a group of her students.
Short stories, poetry and other literature will be read out on the night, focussing on the exhibition’s theme, ‘3 AM: Wonder, Paranoia and the Restless Night’
Dr Cox said: “I’ll be reading from my specially commissioned story, published in the 3am book which accompanies the exhibition.
“We’ll also hear new works and old on a night time theme.”
