A bag containing toxic drugs has been stolen from an ambulance in Morecambe.

The green and yellow bag was snatched along with a defibrillator, a ventilator, portable radio and a Toughbook laptop computer from the ambulance which was awaiting repair at Pye Motors, Morecambe, on Thursday, June 5.

Inside the bag were 10 smaller packs, each containing two "pens" filled with the drugs Pralidoxime Chloride and Atropine which are linked by a plastic cap.

The drugs, which are meant for self-injection, can be toxic and would be very dangerous to vulnerable people, especially children.
