A truck driver who fled the scene after a collision with a bus has been fined £100 after a court case.
Martin Kirk, 46, of Parkfield Close, Leyland, was driving a Man Truck on the A674 at Higher Wheelton, near Chorley on November 2 last year when he was involved in an accident with a Volvo bus.
Chorley Magistrates Court heard damage was caused to the vehicle.
A bus passenger and the bus driver suffered injuries in the incident, but Kirk failed to stop at the scene.
He had originally denied a charge of failing to stop after an accident but changed his plea to guilty during a further hearing.
The bench ordered him to pay a £20 victim surcharge and costs of £100.
They also gave imposed six penalty points on his licence.
Two further charges of failing to report the accident and driving without due care and attention were dismissed by the magistrates bench.
