A trampoline enthusiast was injured in an accident at a Lancashire venue this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Energi trampoline park in Queen Street, Preston, at around 3pm.

A male casualty had fallen behind a trampoline and was hurt. Firefighters assisted ambulance paramedics in getting access to the casualty.

No further details have been released.

No-one was available to comment at the recently-opened Energi, thought to be Lancashire’s first trampoline park

The state-of- the-art 25,000 square foot 174-trampoline hub has created 70 jobs.

In a separate incident, firefighters were called to a blaze at a derelict building in Alfred Street, Lancaster, this afternoon.

Two fire engines and crews from Lancaster and one from Morecambe attended in attendance. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet to put the fire out, which had been started deliberately.
