Drama after car crashes into Preston railway bridge

A police hunt was launched after a car crashed into a railway bridge in Fylde Road, Preston.

The incident happened in the early hours of today (Sunday).

One eye witness said on social media that two occupants ran from the car.

He said: “Sniffer dogs and a helicopter were circling the area.

“National Rail was out to check the lines.”

​Firefighters attended the scene to make the vehicle safe as police searched the area.
