Two ballets performed by the world famous Bolshoi are to be beamed to Lancaster Dukes cinema screen this autumn.

Dancers from the globally renowned Russian company will perform Tchaikovsky’s romantic masterpiece, Swan Lake, with choreography by Yuri Grigovich, to be screened at the Moor Lane theatre this Sunday October 21 from 4pm.

Then, next Sunday November 25, the lesser known piece, The Pharoah’s Daughter, the tale of a young Englishman who meets the daughter of a powerful Eygptian ruler, will be shown in three acts from 4pm.

Both showings will take place in the theatre’s Rake venue.

The theatre is well known for its live hook ups with performances by renowned theatre companies like The Bolshoi and its series of live screenings of London shows by the National Theatre have been sell outs.

Tickets for both Swan Lake and The Pharoah’s Daughter screenings are £12 or £11 for concessions from the Dukes box office on 01524 598500 or online at www.dukes-lancaster.org
